Designed to foster reflection and planning, the Summer Career Institute will help you prepare for a strong return to the work world. Cindy Golub, principal at the financial planning firm G-Squared Advisory LLC, is the keynote speaker.

Bryn Mawr in the Berkshires: A Cultural Interlude

Tap into your creative self through writing, sketching, dance, music, and theater in the company of fellow alumnae/i and friends. Enjoy bucolic surroundings as well as programming like a hike up Monument Mountain and electrifying performances at Shakespeare and Company, Tanglewood Music Center, and the Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival. Your hosts are Daniel Torday, director of Bryn Mawr’s Creative Writing Program; Jaye Fox ’91, artist and co-director of studio21south art gallery in North Adams, Massachusetts; and Alumnae Association Executive Director Wendy Greenfield.

Garden Party at Brush Hill Gardens

Enjoy a respite from the dog days of late summer at Brush Hill Gardens, home of Barbara Paul Robinson ’62, special representative to Bryn Mawr’s Board of Trustees, and Charles Raskob Robinson. Robinson and her husband designed and planted this lovely spot, dubbed the “perfect country garden” in Country Gardens magazine. In addition to touring the grounds, you’ll hear Robinson discuss the research for her new book, Rosemary Verey: The Life and Lessons of a Legendary Gardener.
